A very rough cut of this is implemented in the Android app ("Mood" button). We'll need to adjust naming and colors to match the spec though.

Technically, LED animations are currently not implemented. I think at the end of the day we want to have simple animation states in the firmware (e.g. blinking, fading) so that the radio doesn't need to stay active all the time.

How do you manage locking the LEDs so card10 apps won't overwrite the personal state LED?

Well either we don't care and the user decide if s/he wants to run apps that overwrite their personal state.

Or, the personal state would go into a separate register (BT characteristic):

• 0: State not set, LED registers apply
• 1-x: State set to specific state, LED registers are ignored
