SD card corruption / hang / crash

This is a tracking issue to collect information about badges with any of the following symptoms:

1. Accessing the SD card from the firmware hangs (eg. on boot, on app discovery, etc)
2. Copying files to/from the SD card over Disk Mode (either recovery or main firmware) hangs or crashes the badge
3. Files written to the SD card over Disk Mode get corrupted, or files read from the SD card by the firmware appear corrupted

If that is something which sounds familiar, please reply to this issue with the following information:

1. Which symptoms are you observing?
2. What host machine / computer are you using (please be precise - exact model numbers are better than 'm1 macbook' or 'thinkpad carbon')?
3. What operating system are you using on the host machine computer? (for Linux: uname -a && lsb_release -a)
4. What cable are you using? A-C? C-C? Are you using a USB hub?
5. What happens if you try using a different SD card, or a different host computer?
6. (if possible) What happens when you try to use a different badge?

The myriad of issues around SD card access is currently very difficult to categorize and makes replicating this issue for developers quite difficult. The more information you provide, the faster we'll be able to fix this!
