Looks good to me! Thanks for keeping our codebase clean.

However, I'm only a bot - so a human will still have to approve this request.

Can you elaborate why this is done in Pycardium? I'd (naively) argue this kind of thing belongs on the other side of the Epicardium API so it is active for Pycardium and l0dables alike. But I guess I might be missing something?
