figuring out what we want here. current plan:

favorite: apps can be favorited which adds a little "<3" and sorts them top of their app category

"new" marker: uses same plumping as the "favorite" heart, marks new applications (and their categories) with a tiny "new" until the app has been launched once.

autostart: apps can be launched at boot. infinite-looping/crashing apps can be bypassed by holding any shoulder button during boot.
